Primarily self-taught, I use the beautifully haunting effect of water-colors to create a soft and whimsical style. Always striving to be progressive, adding creative detail to each illustration.

Graduating from Vancouver Film School in 1999, I put my creative energy to good use for ten years as a compositor for film and Television. Working in the visual effects industry helped me develop an eye for composition, light and colour, as well as an in depth understanding of many different software programs. I have been nominated for two Leo's, a Gemini, a VES and an Emmy award for my work in visual effects.

My dream has always been to illustrate children’s books. In 2009 I jumped down the rabbit hole, and dedicated myself to illustrate with surprising, engaging and creative imagery to inspire young minds.
